Conversion of the Kellenberger site, existing «KUBIK» buildings
Mettler Entwickler AG played a decisive role in the strategic site development of L. Kellenberger & Co. AG, a world-renowned manufacturer of precision grinding machines.
In order to aid their endeavours to efficiently consolidate Kellenberger’s three locations in Eastern Switzerland, we carried out an evaluation process. This led to the selection of an ideal plot of land in Goldach on Thannäckerstrasse, which became the perfect location for Kellenberger to set down roots.
The Kellenberger site in St. Gallen is about to undergo an exciting transformation. Over the next few years, the current factory site in St. Gallen-St. Fiden will become a lively, publicly accessible neighbourhood. The buildings will be available for a variety of new purposes, some from early 2024 and others from October 2024. Directly adjacent to the Espenmoos sports centre, the construction of bright and modern premises that are ideal for storage, commercial and office use is under way. If necessary, additional space can even be developed to meet the varied requirements and wishes of the tenants.
