«Stockenhof» residential and commercial development
Mettler Entwickler AG has been commissioned by BVK to take over the development and general planning of this major project. To ensure a structured approach, the site was divided into five building plots.
The “Stockenhof” site, located on the Ostring north of the Roosstrasse junction, extends over a total of five building plots and covers an area of around 32,000 m². This spacious, largely undeveloped plot of land is owned by BVK and therefore offers considerable potential for future development.
In the northern part of the site, the two existing villas will be retained and divided into separate plots, while the other existing buildings will be demolished.

Building plots 1-4
Some 294 apartments in total have been built on plots 1 to 4 of the site, varying in size and specification and thus offering a wide range of housing options. In addition, commercial space was added to the ground floor of the development on plot 4, which complements the residential offering in a meaningful way and breathes even more life into the area.
Building plot 5
A modern centre for assisted living and care is being built for Senevita AG on building plot 5. This project has created 94 retirement apartments and 40 care rooms, complemented by an inviting cafeteria. This new centre not only offers a high standard of living and care, but will also become a vibrant meeting place within the community.
