«Pro Vivaint» residential development
Under the expert stewardship of Mettler Entwickler AG, an impressive ensemble of five buildings characterised by modern architecture was born in the heart of the picturesque Upper Engadine.
This complex comprises a total of 55 spacious apartments, all built to the energy-efficient Minergie standard. The buildings have been cleverly arranged around a central, idyllic green space, creating a harmonious and inviting living environment.
Living grassland
The architecture of the buildings in this project forms a striking contrast to the traditional Engadine houses and reflects a modern lifestyle. The apartments are aimed at people who wish to live in the centre of Samedan and be part of urban life. The project is appropriately named «Pro Vivaint», which means «living grassland» in Romansh – a name that emphasises the vibrancy and dynamism of the location. Two thirds of the apartments are used as main residences and one third as holiday apartments. This underlines the versatility of the project and its ability to adapt to different needs and lifestyles.
Spatial diversity in cubic elegance
With their cube-shaped design, the five buildings in the residential complex contain 2½-, 3½- and 4½-room apartments, all featuring a high-specification finish and generous living space. The striking cubic shape of the buildings creates a lively variety in the floor plans, making each apartment a distinctive and individual home. Some of the 18 residential units enjoy direct access to the garden, while the other apartments have sheltered, south-facing loggias or terraces that offer a private oasis of peace and relaxation.
Vibrant façades and light-flooded rooms
The apartments in «Pro Vivaint» were built in robust solid construction and equipped with first-class thermal insulation. The staggered façade elements, which lend the buildings a dynamic and lively structure, are noticeable even from a distance. The large windows provide modern accents and ensure that the interiors are bathed in the radiant Engadine sun. Another plus for convenience is the easy accessibility of all apartments by lift directly from the underground car park, which simplifies everyday life and offers residents maximum comfort.
